Loving God, Loving Others

“Come to me…”

So many things call for our attention in this life of ours; work, family, friends, sports, television, social media, smartphones, cooking, cleaning, dropping off, picking up, bills to pay, school events, homework, and on and on. Yet how many off these things that call for our attention provide us with strength, rest, clarity, encouragement, support, peace and love? When Jesus said “come to me in Matt 11:28 He offered Himself to you. He knows how busy your life can be and how all the things that call for your attention can drain you and provide only temporary fulfillment. The invitation from Jesus awaits our response; it means nothing to those who do not to respond; but to those who do it becomes their very life. What will you do with His invitation today? How will you respond? Your decisions belong to you and no one else; only you can decide how to spend your time.
New International Version Mt 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
